Aubrica
An order tracker that says what to do next
An online store shipping posture and wellness products to 61 countries. Until November 2026 I ran its operations and customer service, and built the Order Tracker: a web app linked to Shopify and carrier tracking that puts every order in one queue and says what it needs next. AI drafted the routine replies and summarised the notes, so the time went on the orders that needed a decision.

Challenge: Four systems, no single view
Aubrica sells through Shopify and fulfilled through CJ Dropshipping until October 2026, when it moved to a new partner, with customers across the US, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Australasia. Every order passes through Shopify for the order and its tags, CJ for the pick and the cost, a carrier for the parcel and a support inbox for what the customer has said. Knowing what to do next meant opening all four. Replies depended on who was answering, and nothing showed how the business was running as a whole.
Goal: One screen that says what to do next
Write the support process down so every reply is consistent, then build a tool around it: one view of every active order with its stage and its next action, the shipping and finance picture alongside, running on live data rather than exports.
Result: The Order Tracker
The Order Tracker is a web app on Netlify. A serverless function syncs Shopify orders and 17TRACK carrier tracking and keeps its state between runs, so nothing is fetched twice. The Map view plots every customer and sorts the queue by what needs action: escalate to owner, needs phone, needs customs ID, fix in CJ, ready for CJ pick, tracking stalled. Each order opens to a pick-readiness checklist taken from the SOP, its tags, its contact timeline and a deep link into Shopify. Shipping lists every parcel not yet delivered, exceptions first. Finance shows net revenue, refunds, cost of goods and margin by week, country and product. Behind it, support runs to the written process: replies within 1 business day, the same day for cancellations, refunds and urgent shipping, a template for every common case, and country-by-country rules for holding orders with missing details. AI drafts the routine replies from those templates and turns long support notes into a one-line next action; a person reads every reply before it goes.
